I am 5'8 and I would get that pain as well. Then I went with some pullback bars. Still didn't help. I ended up getting some 12 inch Monkey Bars. So much more comfortable and no pain. I wasn't a fan of apes on a bags either. The more I saw it, the more
I liked it.

bbflhrs, you make a good point... Spending the $60 first sounds like a good idea in theory, but I have never had any luck reselling stuff like that. I would end having to sell those bars back for $30. I might as well just buy the bars I know looks good on the bike and as long as the pain isnt any worse, Ill just cowboy up and take it. lol.

After looking at my cables... the PO replaced everything with braided stainless.. The clutch cable has plunty of slack, the throttle cables seem to have at least 4 inches I can get out of them, but the brake line is tight... I am trying to figure out how in the hell I replace just the upper part from the manifold to the bars. Cant find a vendor. The manifold end is a custom bent brake line with a compression fitting on the end... Can you pick these up at Harley?

Those wild One 518's are just the ticket, man. Got rid of my pains and they look great too! Do about an 8" extension on the wiring. I went to stainless braided lines at the same time. Stock clutch cable length and +4 on the throttle.
Good Luck.

I had the Chubby's 508's on my bike for about a year. I couldn't handle the wrist position but they did help with back pain. I then went with Chubby 10" mini apes and all pains are gone. I am 5'10".
