Sleeping passenger's anyone???

My girlfriend rides her Nightster most of the time, but when she does ride with me on long trips, I can count on her falling asleep. I guess she's comfy and trusts me...

The other concern I would have is if the rider had to hit the brakes and steer, the weight of the sleeping passenger against his back would likely affect his ability to steer. Not a good thing to have happen in a panic situation.

Before she got laid off, mine would take a nap on the 30 minute ride to work! Takes 5 minutes to get to the interstate and she is asleep before I hit 6th gear!

I'm impressed; you sure she's not a Soldier? I've seen Soldiers fall asleep standing up in the chow line! LOL

Yup, another one here! Helps if you have an intercom, even more if she can see the satnav. I now get directions through my headset via the eyes over my shoulder.

Isn't this situation potentially dangerous to the sleeping passenger? It appears the order would be nodding off, drifting to one side, actually falling off, then possibly getting run over and mangled by the car behind? If it wouldn't seem ridiculous, I thought at one time of attaching a long belt around the backrest and also around the passenger (as sort of a seatbelt) to help prevent the above from happening.
