Default Yep, but not on the Harley

She used to sleep when I had a Yamaha Venture years ago. Doesn't sleep on the Harley. I've got Rineharts. LOL

My 20 year old daughter falls asleep on the back of the Ultra when we're on a long cruise. Funnily enough, she NEVER falls asleep on the V-Rod, go figure, lol.

Hence while riding round a corner asleep on the back of a bike, the head is in balance, but if the sleeper slumps to one side their subconscious wakes them up.

My wife hasn't fallen asleep, yet. but who knows. Years back in So Cal, I had a crouch rocket. I was out working late, clubbing, etc. Done at 4am Girl I met wanted to ride so we headed to the rock store at 7am, had a blast. Coming home she fell asleep, next thing I know I dozed off. I weaved into other lane. The markers woke me up. I think I **** my pants. I dont think the girl even knew. Pulled over to market and pounded the Nodoze. Never again . Sleep then go.

My wife used to sleep on the back until we hit a deer on the BRP. Now she stays awake.

Sorry. Don't see that. Nothing says that if the balance changes, the body is woken up. I've seen too many people slumped over, to the left or right in cars, busses, planes and trains without waking up, many in positions that had they been on a bike, they would have at a minimum greatly shifted the weight, or worse, fallen off as KSGG posted. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/6887896-post47.html

If my rider does the head bump, we pull over and get a bit of rest and stretching done.

Yep, mine too. Helmet bump and then I get thinking about sewing some D rings on the back of a tactical harness and clipping her in with carabiners on her chest. Kinky too.

I rode with my daughter...and she would fall asleep on the interstate. SO I would ride with her on local highway (between Melbourne and daytona Florida). A gfirlfriend questioned my story....about my daughter falling asleep....sure enough, I rode with the G/F...to Daytona.....knocking helmets. The G/F soon learned not to doubt me.
I guess it must be boring riding with me is al I can tell.
