This may not be the right place to post this but, I replaced the brake light switch in my right handle bar housing and now when I use the right turn signal it flashes at normal speed about 5 times then it speeds up and starts flashing real fast. I have an 04 roadking and I see no smashed or skinned wires in the housing. The left signal flashes normally. Anyone heard of this before?
Most likely a bad ground? Had the same happen on my Eliminator tail light and both signals were going fast after about 5 normal blinks. Took it back and it was a loose ground wire. GL!

Topper has it exactly right .. I just went through this last week and found a ground wire had come loose from my left fairing bracket which hold the left turn signal on my Road Glide. Look around, you'll find the bad ground somewhere .. good luck!
I had a similar problem after pulling a trailer without a load equalizer. In response to a post about it I was given the following information for resetting the TSSM.
Yes there is a way to reset the TSSM. This is used when you install and remove a sidecar but also works with trailers. I have used this to reset after installing led turn signals without using a load equalizer.
First you must apply the back brake and keep it pressed down through out this procedure or you will have to start over.
1 Apply rear brake, turn ignition to on position. Do not start bike.
2 Turn on four way flashers. Let flash four times.
3 Turn on left turn signal. Let flash four times.
4 Turn on right turn signal. Let flash four times.
5 Turn off ignition switch and release rear brake.
Yep, what Norskie said. Happened on my 01 Roadking. Didn't realize it affected later than 01 models though. I didn't even have to get as far as the right signal before it corrected itself.
