Default D & D Ghost or not

Looking at D&D Fatcats, saw some nice pics on the other thread (Overdoo you just like showing that thing off) Thinking I may like it without the ghost pipe on the 2010 EGC so you don't have that crossover going under the bike. It looks a little cleaner to me. Any opinions on the looks of one side?

A very personal choice but personally, I think 'ghost' pipes are redundant. Why on earth would you want to add a lump of useless metal to your bike? You go with a 2/1 exhaust to increase performance then negate that increase by adding more weight. Seems wrong to me but whatever turns your crank, I guess.

If I were going to do a 2-1 I'd want the ghost as I like the dual exhaust look, so the ghost is purely for looks. Good thing about getting the ghost if you don't want it you can remove it but you can't add it if you didn't get it as there is an attachment point on the 2-1 pipe side. thats my 2 cents

See, this is what I don't understand. If you like the dual exhaust look then why not go with DUAL EXHAUSTS? Why install a 2/1 then fake it to look like duals? Just makes no sense to me.

I like the look with the ghost pipe on...but then again mine came that way. I like the 2-1 performance but also like the rear balanced look with both pipes.

Default ghost pipe?

I don't get it either. I like the look better, but I just think of all the other things I could buy for the $300 a ghost pipe costs. I guess it's your money and your bike, do what you want with it.

If you like the 2-1 performance, but want the dual look, I would go with the
2-1-2 system. Best of both.
