Thanks.....my manual does not have that section......but will follow your lead on this. One paragraph "the throttle and idle cable adjustment must be performed by a Harley-Davidson dealership equipped with a Scanalyzer tool."

Thanks to everyone that provided an input on the installation problem.....special thanks to rm4040 and jmxp.....
For jmxp.....used your post on the cruise init and it worked fine.......my book showed some different steps which was causing me some problems. I had printed yours off...lost them....too many beers I guess.....then today....a gust of wind blew them in from nowhere and I decided to try them and oooops-there-it isss. Thanks again.
For rm4040....the throttle roll-back worked great.....actually the throttle response is better now.....appreciate your help. System works as advertised, did test run and all the little bells and whistles did there thing. Now I'm ready for a couple of trips that are in the works.
