Just put the Kuryakyn 4859 Run-Turn-Brake module in my EG. For only $69 this thing is great! Just pop the seat and plug it into the light harness and it's good to go. Didn't need the load equalizer either - everything works fine. It makes the turn signals also running and nice n bright brake lights. And they all also flash bright several times before staying bright when you apply the brakes.
Harley makes one also that is a simple plug and play deal. I installed one on the wifes bike and changed out the stock rear signal bar with a Doss bar with kury LED's and works great, so when I got the SG did the same thing except kept the stock lights and just changed to red lenses.
Ron...Where did you get it? Mail order, local dealer, ETC.
My local dealer had one. Took all of 15 minutes to put in, and that cuz I had to remove my adjustable back rest bracket to get to the light harness. Great unit. I had read on this forum that the HD ones do not make the brake lights function bright enough to really do any good, so wanted to try the Kuryakyn - nice and bright.
good choice
anything to make you more visible is a good thing.
Have noticed several riders in my area have done this but failed to change the turn signal lenses to red. When they brake they show one red in the center and two amber- kinda dumb IMHO.

That is what I have......The full shabang...love it. BTW, the Harley module does not flash like the Kuryakyn.

My buddy has the full Panacea set up and it's amazing - but way outta my price range. That's why I posted about this set up - it's very inexpensive, gives you a lot more light, and flashes to boot! It's a nice alternative for those who don't have the bread for the big one.

I also have the full Panacea (rear) set. The guys I ride with say it looks great at night, but during the day, the LED turn signals don't stand out as much as the stock yellow lights.
