I don't think I missed it and I did a search and found nothing that would help on a 09 but what is the procedure for pulling codes on a 09 FLHX
Also while were on the subject is there a list of the codes that I can reference to to know what they are...
Thanks
paul
Jamie,
Thanks fro the info...However...
Not sure what is happening with what I got and what your set of instructions wanted me to do but I didn't get the same results...
I got the PSSPEb (not the PSSPT) which wasn't supposed to come up according to the info...
by the way the E isn't really an E as it doesn't have the top slash mark on it...
However I got on the b...c1095 and c1216...These were not in the codes for referencing what was going on...
So after jotting them down I did clear the codes and will see if they come back...
By the way I have security and ABS...Not sure if this is the reason for the additional letters and the codes which didn't show up in the code ID you provided...
Thanks again...
The PDF attached is for 08s. I have the 09 electrical service manual, if you have codes that arent in this PDF then PM me and I will look them up for you.
Here is a list of all OBDII Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Harley-Davidson does not use all of them but all of the Codes that Harley-Davidson uses are listed here.
The file is an Excel file. Use the Edit/Find Command to locate the Diagnostic Trouble Code number you've got.
OBDII Codes are the same for all manufacturers per the Clean Air Act
OBDII is On Board Diagnostics used since 1994-1996.

Oh, one more thing. H-D sells an OBDII DTSC Code Reader P/N 32312-10 List is $149.95 but they can be had for ~$120.00 On-Line. The Code Reader: Reads Codes, Displays the code definition, and will Erase DTSC's.

Your speedo can do all of these things. So can the SEPST.
Thanks Guys
I believe I found the info I was seeking...dawg came thru again for me with a copy of the 08 manual which had the codes I was looking for...It did have to do with the abs as to either the front or rear brake was open...
Cleared the codes and we will see it it comes back...This was probably the reason the cruise wouldn't engage a couple weeks ago...I think I had a stuck rear brake pedal which wasn't opening the circuit to the brake for the cruise to engage...
Thanks for all the info
