Exclamation Exterior Lights

I have a 2010 UC. Tonight was the first time I have had the bike out with it being dark. I let a buddy ride it and I rode his bike. As I followed, I noticed that there were no exterior lights. The turn sigs and brake lights all work. There aren't any running lights. I got home and pulled out the service manual to see which fuse it may be and sure enough, the "Light" fuse was blow. Being the dumb *** I am, I also tried the spare fuse, to which I do not have a spare now

My upgrades have only been Fuel Moto Stage 1 and I mounted/wired (to the dongle off the head lamp) a Zumo 450 to the dash.

What lights are "running" lights?
The best I can tell, the only light assemblies that could be a problem are the front/rear fender lights, I am thinking of pulling those assemblies and trying another fuse. If not that, I guess it could be a crimped wire behind the fuse block. Any other ideas?

I know, it is under warranty, however, I am in Italy, don't trust anyone here with my bike. Thanks in advance.

Cale

One other thing, I just looked at Diagram B-23 in the service manual, I guess there may be a chance I grounded a wire when I had the front of the fairing off when installing the GPS, I guess I will start there. You know the old saying, always go to the last thing you "fixed".

Any other thoughts?

Found the chaffed wire. After I took the whole fairing apart and undid the wire bundles and chased some wires with a test meter. I followed the diagrams in the service manual back to the tour pack. Pulled the inside of that out and there it was. The blue wire was rubbing on the big metal support plate. Wished I would have checked that first, oh well. Keep that in mind, the wires aren't really secured to anything under the tour pack liner.

Good job on the troubleshooting, most would have given up. Enjoy the UC.
