I know this has probably been beat up alot , but I can't find the answer !With the power duals , does the amount of exhaust exiting the mufflers is it the same on both sides ! Or is it like my stock pipes about 70 percent on the right side and 30 percent on the left side ? This is what I want too eliminate before I spend the money , I would like to know ! I do not want the true dauls , I do not like the pipe running right beside the wife's shoes on the left side ! Sometimes she wears them **** slippers and it's to hot ! Thanks in advance . . . . . . . .
From my personal experiance, my left side pipe gets darker than my right side, so I do not believe they are the same pressure wise. I have only had them for 1k miles but one side is at least "richer" than the other side. May need to go back and talk to dealer about the dyno tune??
mine were about 60% right side 40% left side. I switched them out for the dresser duels. The pipe comes under frame just like stock. No heat on wifes foot. Sounds good and I can not tell any difference in power. I like the sound much better, now that each cylinder has its on pipe.

+1 on that experience. Mine are exactly as you describe. Have them on my Electra and the Roadie, they absolutely get darker on the left side. It's not a slight difference either. Me and Simple Green do a lot of work on the left side before even touching the right.
Oh, and did I mention tight right turns grind the pi$$ out of the heat shields? Yeah, I hundred times already, be aware should buy them and also happen to turn aggressively. Good luck.
They cooled my bike down nicely. However, my gas milege with pipes, & stage 1 is 30mpg, consistantly for the last 5000 miles. I'm wanting the dealer to retune. Bike runs great but all my buds with the same basic setup are getting 40mpg[/I]
what the V&H Power dual's can do for you that any non cat header pipe can't. They both have a collector and redistribute the exhaust through 2 pipes. Only thing this system does is get rid of the cat's and cool down the exhaust flow. I'm wondering if getting a set of header pipes and collector from HD that doesn't have the cat would do the same thing for less $$? Hmm, have to remember to ask the parts guy about that.
