Irecently bought a07 Deuce. No tranny problems or strange noises here. Bike runs great and its still stock. Great bike ! ! ! ! Can't wait until stage 1 upgrade.

I totally agree......Minimum 2200 rpm and up.......So many are lugging their bike causing havoc.........Good Luck

Service manager where I bought mine told me to expect the 5th gear whine ( he was right) and at the 1K mileservice they change the trans fluid to Belray 85-140. This is my first Harley and I do hear the rattle when under a small to moderate load

Actually I didn't know of any tranny problems with the 07's until I purchased one, noticed a noise and then started searching the forums for a reason.

hogtoad,,, well when the bikes first came out, they were quite different,, as you can see by my first post , back 1st week of Sep., I came here trying to get a handle on it, lookin to see if it were just me or were there more with Prob's.. thus the saga begins.
fyi.... later bikes seem to be ok

So many posts on this issue but no failures. When I hear of any 07's breaking I may be concerned. Until then I'll remain very pleased with my flhtcu. Purchased in late August. 2000 miles
