Front brake problem?
I'm guessing the dealer replaced the pads without addressing the real problem which could be the pistons not retracting/engaging correctly. I would disassemble and clean the brakes myself according to the shop manual for peace of mind.
With the bike being in warranty...I would take it back to a dealer to correct whatever is going on with the brakes...That puts the dealership liable for whatever happens as a result of the front brake problem...Any dealer that doesn't aggressively diagnose and resolve brake issues or any other safety issues is just asking for legal problems.
+1. My '09 RK Classic just tipped 11K miles and a front brake job is in my near future. Rear looks fine.
Bike back from dealer and I was told nothing wrong with the brakes. In fact, we squeezed a few other Ultra's and they all felt the same. Dealer did tell me if I still feel uncomfortable they would ask the Rep to come on it and look at it. I think I will tell them about the suggestions on the forum and ask for them to clean the pistons.
