I had my share of issues with most of my previous HD's including my 06Springer Classic...stalling, oil leak due to a missing o-ring that the factory "forgot" to install, missing bolts...that the factory "forgot" to install...but I really loved the bike & it was all covered by warranty.
These are the kinds of issues that really chap my ****! The employees doing the assembly work on these bikes make some of the best wages of any factory workers in the country. Forgetting an o-ring, bolt, or any other part is simply unacceptable.
What a crock of crap, bet if you want to count posts, there are a twenty in the last 2 months on the 06 problems to every one on a 07. The truth, the 06 is a lame duck, only year to come with catalist mufflers in all 50 states and everyone that bought one feels Harley screwed them by not letting the cat out of the bag on the 96" and 6 speed they could have had if they waited a few months, Sour Grapes pure and simple. LOL

Yes, there were a high number of posts about the 06 including the radio. I had none of those problems with mine. Just as I have had no problems with my 03 Heritage Classic.
My stance on any major revision to a product line is to wait a bit unless there is an immediate business need to upgrade / replace a unit.

Yes but also remember that the number of online complaints is only the tip of the iceberg, as a lot of the 07' owners don't even subscribe to this forum so one doesn't really know how widespread the problem is.
If no one bought the 07's then the MOCO wouldn't know what to fix for the 08's that so many of you will hold out for because its the second year, so they should have it all fixed by then.[:@] Every single first run of everything, from motorcycles to lawnmowers has problem when first introduced.
If they aren't enough testers how do you guys expect them to find the problems and fix them???
None of you work in the automotive industry do you??
