In all seriousness, we are all proud of we own no matter what year it is or if it is a 88"/96". Therefore, it is human nature to defend our prized possessions. With that being said the pissing contest will never be over we should move on.
...and if not, do like Bountyhunter suggests.... "Just line 'em up on the starting line and the first one to finish...without a breakdown...WINS" [sm=coolness.gif]

you all snickers got your nipples in a twist. no need to fight we all got the same bikes, your fighting over the same things- A HARLEY! we all spent too much money taking pride in our hogs, and it sounds hear like some internet nerds having a girlie little cat fight. not one 06 owner hear cant say the 07s are not attractive, because the damn thing looks like an 06, and runs like a champ. it will. you think harley would build something to just fall in the dirt? and the 07 guys hear cant say the havent seen an 06 that looks like gods toy. cause they have. and thats why than ran to the dealer and bought one. they are all hogs and ive seen years made before i was born that take my breath away. just ride the damn thing, and take pride without bashing someone elses.

Seriously, I hate to see guys plop down hard earned money and have problems. I have a 06 with a carb and I'm glad I bought it that way. I had a 04 with EFI and never had any problems with it either. But when I bought the 06 I decided to go back to the carb and watched many guys have problems with 06 EFI bikes. I'm sure Harley will get the bugs out and I hope it is sooner than later. We all love are Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

After all this talk. I took my 07 in today and traded it in for a Gold Wing. They offered me one of those nice riding jackets with the deal and that was the closer!!!!!!!![sm=icon_rock.gif]
Seriously though.......If I could have gotten into an 06 RG with a 6 speed thrown in and installed, I would have done it. Nobody was wanting to do that. Atleast not 5 weeks ago. The 96" engine is nice but was not a huge deal to me like the 6 speed.
