I am not the OP, but I am "early in the thread" describing the issue. It is going back a bit now but the dealer did replace the BAS sensor (finally), I rode it for a few more months without problem, then traded it in on a new 2011 FLHTK. Have put 43,000 on the TK since then without an inkling of a problem
I can't be positive the BAS was the problem, but that was the last thing they fixed before I traded it in.
My only regret, in hindsight, is that I didn't trade it in after the first time the dealer told me that they couldn't find a problem or replicate it.
I was having problems with it dying when I got on it. I knew I was getting fuel i recently rebuilt the carb and usually a coil just goes out. When I turn it off and on it would work again. When I would take it easy and not open up the throttle quickly it wouldn't die. So I looked up online for a few ideas seen a post about same year bike same problem. Bank angle sensor unhooked and problem went away. Just have to wait for my new one.
