Default Bar Options

Not new to motorcycles but this is my first Touring model. I have done search and found conflicting answers to this one question, so I thought I would post and see what I get. I have an 08 RK Classic, I am curious as to what bar options I have that DON"T require any changes in cables or wires. Heritage,Heritage-Style, Mini-ape, Beach, etc. . . Pics would also help.

Those are pretty much tha bars you can use. I have heard some use the sweepers from KlockWorks also.

...anyplace w/hot women & cold beer..... oh, wrong kinda bar

i had W1 10" mini-apes on my old RK Custom, no cable or wire swap. you do have to reroute your clutch cable, and relocate the wiring in the headlight housing. after doing that, i wished i had just sacked up and gone with 14's and made any cable and wire changes needed. 10's just didnt cut it for me.

I would focus on getting the right bars for you, regardless of having to change the cables and wires. If you have to, then you have to...small price to pay for being happy with your bars.

I like my Cubby Wild 1s WO575. But you will need a +4" clutch cable.
Like Tito said get the bars you want and if you need to change cables don't worry about it.
