Stupid rope,
I can only speak for the south side, Chick's Custom Cycles ask for John (owner) Drew, is the man there. Very Excellent Service guy. Oceana Cycles, Tray (owner) really cool & nice dude. Birdneck Cycles, Dennis (owner) old school and loves the old knuckles & pans. Lastly maybe try FTW, Bobby (owner) real laid back dude. These guys should be able to help out if you don't like the dealers. If you do decide to use a dealer. I TRUST Sean or Gary at South Side Harley. Sean is the ONLY one who works on my ride, he's been working on my bikes for the past 7 years. I trust him, but to each their own.
I'm sure there are a couple of folks on the Hampton/Newport News side but I can't suggest anyone there. I hope this helps you out!

See Don at Bayside HD, they recently changed a tire, then mounted new wheels for me. Rode in waited, rode out. Fast, reasonable and quality work. Most all of their wrenches are older mature folks who know what they are doing. If you got to have an indy, check out Yellow Birds suggestions, they are all good options IMO. Bayside is opened 7 days!

Mike,
Yelp! D. Ramos is a stand up guy! Also, your bike is getting more pimp everytime I see it!!!
Bayside HD just charged me 95 ****ing dollars to swap the tire. On top of that the guys were rude. First and last time I use the dealer for anything service related.
If they were rude I'd let Don the service manager know about that. Sounds like an hour of labor..pull rear wheel, mount balance and install tire ? Sounds reasonable...what happened ?
