In addition to weather resistant what about vibration resistant? I believe that electronics are made vibration resistant by encapsulating circuit boards in epoxy or something similar. I have heard the term "powdered" describing electronics.
I am not very knowledgeable about this. Just wondering. I have the stock HK and Hongtues amp and speakers.
You can do it without marine grade speakers lots of help on here from Ikro, Glacier P, Firecap, & a few others....
just so u know I run 8 Speakers: 6 in the fairing area & 2 in the bags (6x9's) with 2 Amps, Alpine pdx 4.100 & Arc Mini 2 channel... All in 1 bag.
When She decides to ride I throw the tour pac on of course it has 2 speakers on it (after market) and we roll out... Yes it sounds good, no it Sounds Damn Good and yes I can here it @ 120 MPH.. oh yeah and so can everyone else here it.... I still have the factory Battery in the Bike from 2006 ( I will be upgrading soon) It sounds better than MOST CARS out there! Good Luck
