Thanks spoiled biker.... the music from the iPhone without the zumo would be stereo thought correct? The zumo for directions would be mono.... If I had both paired and played the iPhone would the directions interrupt the music?

Yes, theoretically you should be able to pair your iPhone to your SMH10 via the A2DP setting and the iPhone to your Zumo via the Hands free profile. Earlier software versions did not make this available but I believe by IOS4 on you can. Once paired in this manner you would have stereo music as well as be able to skip tracks, pause etc from your SMH10 by using the **** control.
Since the SMH10 is a 2-way device it would automatically pair in the hands free. Pairing to the Zumo first should take away that option and the iPhone would then pair to the next device (headset) with the A2DP.
(With earlier versions people were buying stereo BT transmitters and plugging them into their earphone jack and then telling the iPhone to play to the earphones. This created one more device to charge, buy and maintain).
I have the scala G4, got it for free since my buddy works for them. he travels all over the world testing their system. mine is paired with my ph and my wife's with hers. I love being able use pandora or iheart radio to listen to my fav local stations when I'm away from home and talk to my riding buddies on the road too.
