Please, explain to us how you did it. I couldn't hold the TourPak lid in place, hold the top portion of the new hinge in place and tighten the screws of the hinge at the same time with 2 hands.
I might have been able to do the 2nd hinge alone but not the first.
I set the lid on the box in the open position and let it lean back against the teether strap and it stayed in place while I screwed the screws in the lower section. There was no wrestling it or fumbling with it. It just stayed in the upright open position while I fastened one hinge and then the other.

This is what the instructions said and exactly how I did it. Worked great with no problems,
I did it myself but gave up doing it the way the instructions said to do it. I installed the hinges on the lid first then bolted them to the bottom. The screws are easier to access on the bottom.
Looking back now, That is the way I should have done it, it would have been easier. The directions, as usual, suck.
