I love mine too, and they were probably the best minor mod I've done.

And they really are easy to install, and I'm not a very handy guy. Just follow the instructions.

Just another fine example of H-D selling you a hand with 4 fingers, then offering to sell you the fifth finger. They look good, but I'm going to keep the stock ones just to stick it to em I'm sure that'll kill their bottom line........

I do not understand how they can sell these as inexpensive as they do but continue to put the SS straps crap on the Tour Paks, must be a assembly cost add they do not want to deal with.

I put them on about a month ago, I love how they look, but I made the mistake of trying to do it myself, and looked like a monkey doin' a football. I invented some new swear words, before calling my son to come over and hold the tourpack for me so I could finish.

I did it myself but gave up doing it the way the instructions said to do it. I installed the hinges on the lid first then bolted them to the bottom. The screws are easier to access on the bottom.
