Before the jack I use to do a section of the wheel then roll the bike and do the next section, then roll it again and so on - pain-in-the-***!

And one final point. I'm never concerned with the stability of the bike when it's on the lift. I can't always say that with the jack.

One of these and you don't have to drag your jack out when your cleaning your wheels.

Never saw one of these before. Looks pretty straight forward and functional. Thanks for the info.

I started with a jack and added a lift when I got a good deal. I use the jack for washing and the lift for oil changes, etc. Both are invaluable to me and I have the room for both.

Craftsman has an aluminum one that works well.

Thanks
If you get the Condor wheel chock- besides parking on it- when you want to remove front wheel you just jack up front of bike, pull two pins and the chaulk removes. I also pulled the pins and chaulk and was able to easily park my truck, straddeling the lift.
