Ummmm, how fast are you gonna ride?
Seriously, if you are turning 5000 rpm in fifth do you care if it drops you from 118 to 110?

Or realistically, if you are turning 4000 rpm in fifth do you care if it drops you from 94 to 88?

I tow an Apen Classic tent-trailer with my 2000 SERG, 95" stage II. Haven't weighed the trailer fully loaded, but I expect it will be about 400-450#. Bike pulls it just fine at 65-70. Had it up to 80 once, got a little squirrely. As others have said, it's not the Go thats a problem, it's the whoa! Make sure your brakes are in good shape and allow extra room for stopping. I've pulled it thousands of miles with no problems. A small cargo trailer should be a piece of cake to pull. Proper tongue weight is critical though, too little and the trailer tends to try and "wag the dog", too much is hard on the bike.

Of course, my wife rides her own bike, so that gives us a lot more room to pack stuff. Before we got the trailer we tent camped a lot, using equipment designed for backpacking. A one burner stove packed inside a set of two pans, a coffee pot and a couple mugs didn't take up much space and don't weigh much either.

Here's a pic of our camper. People who see it are amazed that it folds up and can be towed by a bike. Has a king size bed and plenty of storage space under the bed.
