Totally disgusted with them. Ordered a dual globe headlamp from them 28th Dec. They hit my credit card immediately for $157-00. Apparantly on back order from HD. I have e-mailed them at least 6 times, and have yet to get a response! Called Mastercard, and asked them to reverse the transaction.
Never again from CHD. Bunch of incompetents. Don't they realize how much this bad publicity is hurting them?
It seems very odd from 1 HD dealer to another..... Getting past the price which flucuates 10-40%. I just ordered a bunch of accesories, funny thing - I live in Eastern Canada and the best best price shipped was from LV HD..... Go figure?? It seems to me dealers are robbing us blind unless of course we have internet access.......
Looking to ride up your way this August, what kind of weather should we have by then ? I want to ride over on the Confederation bridge and then take the ferry back to NS. . . . Looking like Spring here in SW Michigan.
Sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I ordered two parts from Chicago HD. A simple cam locking tool and rocker box wrench. Waited and waited, expecting them to come by Christmas. Well, called them, of course, they say they are on back order, so I let it go. Well, February 1st comes and I check in. First call, no answer. Second call, "I'll transfer you to internet sales" no luck in the transfer. Finally after the third try I talk to someone. Still on back order, so I cancel the order and have them credit my card. Next day ordered from Zanotti and the parts plus a few others came within 6 days (including a weekend). First time with Zanotti's was great. Got an email immediately from them and a second email when the parts shipped.
I'm finding that there are a ton of places online to buy from at discounted prices. It's probably not right to advertise them here, but I recently found a few others that have competitive pricing and usually free shipping. westendmotorsports.com, realhog.com, directharleyparts.com, and easternperformance.com to name a few.
yes indeed price quoted after ordering was different than online. Called internet mngr and complained. Although, it was a matter of 30 bucks I felt it was a bait and switch ordeal. Secondly, I was told it would be 3 weeks before I would receive parts.... fine but they shouldn't charge credit card till it leaves their warehouse. Lastly, they need to be more professional on the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i ordered a hd bike cover. was called that it came in i gave them my credit card.i went in to pick up and they sold cover. tookme 6 weeks to get credit.

LV HD?? You mean Las Vegas HD?? Did they discount the parts? I live in Vegas and my local dealers are the "pay msrp or leave" types. If you're finding that they discount on-line maybe that's an option for me.
One word...... ZanottiMotors.com, No Muss, No Fuss, Great Prices, Great service! Prices beat CHD and LSHD even with shipping. Need I say more?, and No I don't work for Them
