Many bikes and thousands of $ I've had no major problems. It has sometimes taken a long time to get parts but the price has been good. I don't know about the 20% to 10%
The last time I ordered 12/10 I got 20%. I've had a lot of work done on my bikes and have been happy as long as Mike Witt does the work
I've bought parts from all of the BIG 3. Chicago, Zannotti, and Lakeshore.
Lately, Lakeshore has gotten all my business for several reasons.
1. Their prices are just a little better in most cases.
2. They offer free shipping on bigger orders.
3. They allow Paypal checkout.
4. Online account history showing all past or pending orders.
5. They have very good communication by email.
June Sparks at Lakeshore is very good about emailing a tracking number as soon as the item ships. They will also notify you if there will be a delay due to special order.
I'm going to have to agree with the Lakeshore idea. I just ordered the stage II 103 kit. Retail $900, Chicago $809, Lakeshore $740. Not much of a decision.
I just placed an order with Lake Shore. Chicago was a little over $100 higher and then shipping on top of that. Lake Shore had free shipping on orders over $500. It's the first time I have used them, we will see how it goes.
Try being the big boy and give them a call Never know what could have happened, did you check the papers someone may have broken in their shop and stole their computer! Terrible to put them on front street without first doing your homework IMO
Here is one for you...the local BMW Car Dealer has cars lined up everytime it rains or snows up here. Buy a beamer and you get free fluid changes, just need to make an appointment. Folks pull in, want it done RIGHT NOW!
Be sure to update the forum when you get the reason why you did not get your parts YESTERDAY
Just went to Chicago HD site to place an order and saw the discount is now only 10%. I've used them for years, and it wasn't a bad deal if you weren't in a hurry. But for only 10%, I'll go elsewhere. Thanks for the suggestions on other dealers.
I guess delivery will take a little while due to your part of the world being eleventeen feet under snow...............Is Est Quis Is Est -latin for - It is what it is'
Cheers from Sydney Australia where it has been over 100 F for the sixth day in a row.............
