Have ordered before with zero issues - Ordered 11/29/2010 - Received email that they had to order parts - no updates since - called 12/20 they informed me that order was placed but they where having issue keeping up with orders and Harley was closing for year end 12/20 - 1/3/2011 - called yesterday and was told that all orders from 11/20 - 12/15 never were sent to Harley (IT/Website systems issues?) - they then resent them on 12/15 and my order should be here some time next week? - can't understand why they have no interest in sending a note out to people that have ordered to let them know what's going on - rather just loose more and more customers using the silent treatment

Thanks for posting that update.
That might explain why I haven't heard anything from them.
I placed an order on 11/29/2010. Got the standard email that they were processing my order. Then the one that stated everything had to be ordered.
Nothing since then. And I agree, that is NOT the way to treat customers.
I know stuff happens. Just send out an email keep us informed.
It's 10 degrees out with snow on the ground, so I couldn't ride anyway.
If it was in the spring or summer I would really be pissed by now.
I ordered several parts due to a deer/bike mishap 11/04 and 11/08 and still have yet to receive the majority of my $2,500 order. The only parts that should have taken time was a primered inner and outer batwing fiaring; however, I got primed bags and lids 3 weeks ago. I did get about $650 dollars worth of stuff. I am calling Monday and if they can't give me a date yet, I'm canceling and going to Zanotti's.
I hope to ride my bike again this spring, but I'm wondering.
WELLL SAY GOODBYE TO 20% off!!!! Chicago hd started that discount over 10 years ago way before othere stealers, with all you whining cry babies they now offer only 10%....so I can guarantee the other dealers will also follow now that they don't need to compete with the 20%

And that means what? That they will lose a ton of business and most likely go out of business, since I'm sure they rely on that to maintain status quo? Everyone will go back to buying less, and from their local dealer, like the good ol days. Fortunately, it won't effect me in the slightest.

So your happy with waiting for 2 months to get your order?
The fastest I've ever gotten anything from them was 3 weeks.
I'm sorry, but that is not worth 20% off to me.
And I highly doubt that any whining going on here had anything to do with their decision to drop the 20% off.
I ordered an advanced wiring harness for the harley stock stereo in September and had to cancel the order just before Christmas because it was taking too long!
Others will always be willing to step in, like Zanottis, and offer a discount. I dealt with Chicago HD until it started to take a month for orders. The only loyalty I had was that it was closer than others.

20% off ain't worth the aggravation of waiting weeks for an order to arrive. Neither is 10%.
