Here's some pics of mine. It's 1/4" lines to everything. Haven't had a chance to ride it yet and still waiting for the automatic lock switch to show up so I can finish it.

Boy that sucker doesn't lower...It falls! That is fast! Isn't that gonna make it hard to adjust on the fly?

Where did you get the fitting to come of the shock? Went to my connector place and he said nothing will fit.

I ordered my Gabriels today but still have a few questions or rather some guidance as I work through the process below.
Shocks:
Sounds like brass fittings are a good idea though may not be necessary.
Ar the poly bushings from energy suspension stated earlier the way to go then simply trim to fit.
Longer grade 8 bolts are in order. I will wait untill I get the bushings in to verify additional length needed.
Electrical Wiring:
For the relay should I use 30amp or 40amp?
Is the in-line fuse from compressor to battery a 20amp?

I'm probabley going to go with the legends suspension air compressor for ease of install. It's $215 but it comes with the compressor, mounting bracket and solenoid. The solenoid and compressor are pre-assembled to the bracket with the wiring and air connections already complete. I will just need to connect one air line to the compressor, then split it with a "Y" or "T" fitting to the shocks, and connect the 3 wires from the compressor to the relay, ground and switch accordingly. The system also easily mounts above the frame rail between the engine and tranny case.

Thanks to everyone for you help and i'll let you know how things go.

i'm hoping just a quick push of the button will work but if it falls too much then it still goes up slow

-I went with brass because its easy to find. I do have a 5 port push to connect fitting that I plan to use if I figure out where to mount a gauge.
-no new rubber bushings are needed, just new metal bushings to go in the rubber. I used 1/2x5/8x1 1/2 that I got from one of the drawers at lowes and trimmed them down some to fit the rubber.
-longer bolts are a good idea. I think I went with 2 1/2 bolts.
-I'm not running a relay on mine. IMO you aren't running the pump for extended periods so as long as your running the right gauge wire and fuse you shouldn't have any problems. I'm going to start with a 20amp fuse and see how that works.

good luck with the build!

As long as you dont mind using a switch thats heavy duty enough to handle the load no relay is needed. Using a relay enables you to use a wider selection of switches. I had to use one due to the fact that I am using my volume up/down switch for my air up/dn.

I got mine pretty much done tonight, except dummy me bought a FUEL solenoid so it doesn't seem to work with air. It operates normally when theres no pressure behind it, as soon as theres some air pressure it no longer functions. Just ordered another one, so hopefully I'll be done in a few days...
