Same as outlaw said, the ECM is on the right side of the bike. Compressor is mounted on the left side. Only thing I did was move the wiring harness into the battery box.

So it would seem that most of you have done this for about $200, is that right?
I think I'm gonna have to try this once I get some other bills caught up. Not sure if I'm gonna be able to put it under the side cover, so I may have to fab a bracket for under the battery box. Where has everyone mounted their switch at?

I think most of us have mounted the switch under the left side of the seat on the down tube above the trans.

Trust me. It'll be easier to put on either side than it will under the battery. As far as the switch goes I used the volume button on the handlebars as my up/dn. I also used the aux light switch as another dump switch.
I have a little over $200 in mine now that I have a remote.
