I bought the lock/unlock switch for the dash to keep the install clean and factory looking.

My right side cover is full of ecm and PCiii connectors. My left side cover has my PCiii itself. That only leaves under the battery box as I don't think I can move the PCiii anywhere else.

Didn't you lose the volume function by using those buttons?

Got a pic or part number? I'm not sure what you're referring to....

Switch Assy, Power Locks

get 2 and you can use one as your Garage door opener. I took out my ACC switch, and I only have a E Glide classic so I had a spare open spot for a switch ;-)

I had already lost them! I have an aftermarket stereo and the module to retain handlebar controlls took a dump so I said what the heck. Its pretty handy having it at your fingertip(thumb).
Its easier to put the ECM under the battery than the compressor. The wiring should be plenty long to relocate.

Guys, whats the deal with being able to place the compressor on the left or the right?? I checked under my side panels today. The left side has the fusebox and the wiring harness, the right side is taken up with the ECM and somethin else. Is the compressor that tight that you can actually fit it under the panels? I see that alot of you have relocatred the ECM under the battery box. Whats involved inthat? You have to take half the bike apart to mount the ECM under there or do you just stuff it inthere, what? I love this idea and am on the fenceline with orderingup. I want to make sure that I can get the compressor to fit somewhere other that under the fairing...all that room is gonne with stereo equipment....

Unless you have the oil temp gauge, mount the compressor between the motor and trans. there is plenty of room. There was a post back in the thread on one with a bracket for like 300.00. but look at it and get creative, you can do it. Trust me it will fit......

I just installed this air rise on my 07 road king and the compressor fit perfectly behind the left side cover. I don't have abs so there was enough room. I mounted my switch on the lt side of frame just behind rear cyl. Black switch so it is hidden nicely and easy to reach while riding.

If you can move the ECM then you can mount it all on a plate under the right side cover. I was lucky on the 08 as the ECM is above the battery.

Here is the compressor I will be using from Legend Air (hopefully have it all installed by February). Price is higher but I think its reasonable considering it comes as all in one with solenoid, mounting bracket and wiring. Everything else they offer is super expensive. Maybe its all worth it but I can't see paying $50 for 30/40 amp relay with wiring when Radio Shack sells them for roughly $6, and how about $10 for "Y" fittings ouch. Anyway here is the link if you are interested
