Hmmm.... interesting!

BTW, with the Monroes, and riding solo (220 lbs), I have found a sweet spot at 80-85 lbs of pressure (while sitting on the bike). Anything between 40-60 is lowriding and anything over 90 is fully extended... gonna have to play around with the muffler adjustment so I can dial in easier...

Does the swingarm tag the oil pan...does the lower shock bolt tag the exhaust on a hard rebound?
Show a pic of the 85psi rake!

I pulled apart the stock guage and modified it, tore apart the viair guage and installed its guts in the stock housing.
Im waiting for all the epoxys to dry before I can reinstall, but I think its going to work. 60lbs may be 70 degrees, but who cares if it reads right, all I have to do is figure out how many degrees feels good and thats what I set it for!
It looks stock with the light and all.
Ill post some pics up next weekend when I get back in town and get it back together.
I've been working on doing that for about 3 weeks. Well....I started 3 weeks ago and got sidetracked on other things. I'm using a $17 oil pressure gauge from advance auto and putting the HD face on it.

Well I got it all together and it works great, almost.
When I put it back together I pushed the face of the guage all the way to the lens, then I found out thats where the back light comes through. I looked closer to the other guages and it looks like the face is held back about 1/16th.
Im heading out of town for the week, so Ill take it apart and redue it next weekend.
It does work good though, looks like it will ride good aorund 80 deg. and shocks hit pipes at 100 degrees.
Now i just need to get the light to work.

Always a bonus with $50 shocks that aren't designed for baggers!

Hey Tman, I paid $80! Where can I get them for $50, sounds like a great deal!
Im not going to complain about you being an A$$ and making coments in threads that you obivously dont give a damn about. Welcome my brother, but remember what comes around goes around. By the way thats 100 Degrees on the guage not 100 MPH, That would be dangerous!

No pics right now...

With a solo weight of 220lbs on the bike, 82-85 psi puts the shock right about 12-13", just like stock SG and/or RK. Less than that and it wants to sit low, making bumps more present (more compression, less rebound). Any higher than that and you know you're not getting much compression, just excessive rebound.

Get a tape measure, @ 85psi those shocks are fully extended to 14". More pressure will just deform the bushings.
Ask me how I know about the dynamics of MA785's?
