Marrying TSSM to ECM
Marrying TSSM to ECM
How goes it?
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place. Still getting acquainted with the site.
Can a person marry the TSSM to the ECM themselves or do they have to take it to a Harley shop?
I already have a Datalink cable, a comp cable and tuning software but the Harley shop says this is something I cannot do myself.
Just trying to keep 'em honest!

It's not working for me either on my 08 FLHRC
I get the check engine light along with flashing ABS light but with step 5, the security light does not remain lit. It goes out immediately and comes back on about 10 seconds later. I have waited the entire 10 minutes and around the 10 min mark, the security light goes out, so I quickly continue on from step 7. The next 2 times of the OFF-ON cycles (steps 9 and 11) the security light goes out after roughly 5 seconds so those steps are quick. Still no luck for me...
I will do some more searching and then post a new thread if I can't find anything

Tssm ecu pairing marrying 2020 lowrider Replaced the tssm due to lost keyfob and pin. Tried about 30 possible codes on the old one. Anyway, it tries to start and then dies. The procedure for replacing the tssm is not working as the 2018-2024 softail does not have an ignition key. How do I get past this?

I still haven't had any luck with my 08 RK. Mine still starts for maybe 2 seconds and dies... I'm about to disconnect the battery for 30 mins and give it another shot at marrying it to the fob/ECU 🤞🙏
