EG classic is really what I want with the 103"....but alas....only if I step up to the Ultra Limited which I don't want to pay for all the extras I don't need/use.
Yes I could just get a 2011 and have the upgrade done but like the idea of having it delivered that way, so I can ride it forever stock.....there's nothing else I would change on that bike....not exhaust...not anything. I like it the way it is.
I'm going to rent a Road Glide ultra (has the 103) in a couple weeks but I don't care for the look of the RG too much nor the look of the console from the seat or the reach to the bars. I remember this from the 2007 I rented. But I'll rent the 2011 anyway. Maybe something will change and I'll like it more.
Just weird to me why the 103 isn't even an option on the EG classic..for 2011...
haha....knew that was coming. Yeah I could do that except I'm not sure I want the slammed suspension of the SG. The last EG classic I rented really soaked up the bumps well. The SG I rode didn't seem as plush to me. I guess I can rent a 2011 SG too.....
How much are color matched tour packs anyway? Under $1K?
OK....I just found them...$749 for Vivid Black....looks like that comes with all mounting hardware.

by the time you buy a tour pak, back rest pad, docking kit and rack it will be 1k but it will be quick release and you can negotiate it down if you get it with the bike

Your about $1000 for the trunk, backrest, and lock.
If you want it detachable, about another $350.
If you have any thoughts of going this route, and want to just mount the truck fixed, Like It would be on a Classic, pm me. I have the parts you need... (mount and strut covers) $100. Also have a set of Ultra rear shocks for 09-up with about 3000 miles on them...$75.00

Thanks for the info. I don't need quick release especially if it costs more. I'd always want the trunk to be there. I'm assuming this stuff is easy to install or should if I throw it into the price of the bike...should I get the dealer to put it on when all the parts are in stock?
