some guys say you can use it on everything besides glass. I was a non believer untill I tried it a few months ago. Works great on your painted surfaces.
I used it on my paint and it sucks. Everything is streaked and looks horrible. I mean terrible. I tried spraying it on and then a tried a tiny amount on a towel...nope, looks like crap.
Your not doing something right. 1. wash and dry Your Bike. 2. spray on pledge, and buff with a microfiber cloth. 3. Buff again with a clean microfiber cloth. That should produce outstanding results.
My buddy has used it on his show '69 Vette for now over 10 years and it is valued at 80K and I don't feel he would use something that in anyway shape or form would harm that car!!!!! He has any product on the market at his disposal and can use any of them at will and this is what he has used. It used to be a big show secret for years. I have used it for my scoots for 5 years on everything from paint, glass to chrome with no problems. Wash, dry, spray, wipe with outside of sweatpants, then detail with terry cloth ot micro-cloth. Watch the shine!!!!!!!!!!!!
With many painted surfaces, you do not want to use a cloth with polyester ( most T shirts).
Polyester fibers are harder than many paints and will cause swirl marks.
100% cotton is always good.
I use new diapers ( $6 a bundle at walmart, kmart etc.) launder first without softener.
I do use furniture polishes on some surfaces- some like it, some don't. i like an English product "Mr. Sheen"- which is really good for windscreens and bugs. I buy a few cans when ever I get over there
