This is only my 27th post.
Isn't editing non-selectively just deleting?

Even after 4 days it will still be a significant factor on the road. I really hate getting that salt all over the bike with no effective way to wash it off completely.
Am I worrying too much?
Don't do it. Bring the wheels home and tell them you will be back in spring for install. If they are good guys they will honor the free install in spring. If not, trailer it.

Most of the free install promotions in the rust belt are so the techs have work over the winter. Methinks that there's probably a drop-dead date on the offer if the shop owner isn't an idiot.
Giving away free labor in April when you're backed up 3 weeks and every pinhead within a hundred mile radius is waving fistfulls of cash at you to get them on the road for the season doesn't make real good business sense.

Let them mount the rubber to the rims, and put them on the dam bike yourself.

Really man, no need to do do twice as much work to avoid missing some free work.
Few beers in the garage on a winter saturday can be fun.
No need to hunt down trailers and pester your buddies.
