My 07 Ultra's air temperature gauge reads about 10 degrees high. I'm told they're all like that. Such an easy design fix. Why won't HD make the effort?
I've seen lotsa posts about these...honestly, aside from very hot days, where it can be way off, I find it works fine for me at lower temps pretty accurately. Guess your results may vary
You have a Road Glide which does not have as much trouble as the bat wing bikes. I complained about the air gauge on my 00 Standard and i'll be bithin about it on my 07 Street Glide

I have a RoadGlide as well and my temp gauge is fairly accurate also....Who's going to notice 5 degrees???? But really a more pratical gauge would be the Oil Temp gauge!!!! [sm=exactly.gif]
Who needs a thermometer to tell them if it's hot or cold on a motorcycle anyway????
I agree. I judge by how I feel, hot or cold. Don't need a temp guage to tell me that. They're about as accurate as the one's I see on billboards and banks. Always off.
My 07 RG guage tends to be about 5 degrees off. I heard it has something to do with the sensor being too close to the front headlight. I believe someone said they repositioned theirs and it was about right on after that.
