Default Hand Grip Removal

i have a 10 sg and i am putting on new bars

i need to remove the hand grips and wanted to know how

will i have to cut them off?

thnx

Cut the leftr one off. The right merely slides off...

when u loosen the switch housings both will slide off.(also loosen the hrottle cables)

If you don't want to cut the left on off, you can work it loose a little bit around the edge and used compressed air to break the glue free. If you already have replacement grips, the left one will come free just by loosening the switch housing

If your replacing the bars why bother, I have my stock bars hanging on the wall with the left grip still on.

LMAO!!!

When I replaced the bars I replaced the grips, easier that way. He wanted to know if he had to cut them off. I should have said that. lol

cool,

i just bought new bars and new housing all prewired
i was just wanting to keep the stock hand grips since im broke

so i just need to take housing off and both will slide off?

I just did a grip replacement on a 10 SG and the left one did not need to be cut. It didnt slide off easy, but work it a little and it will. Not much effort was needed.
