I'm a firm believer in Clearview as well. I bought one from them, and it was top notch. Very good quality material, and even though he said it was a blem, I never found anything wrong with it.
Well, I changed seats and bars, and needed a bit shorter windshield. I went the cheaper route, because hey - they're all the same, right?
Wrong! I got another shield that is also widely discussed on this board. I won't bad mouth it because there is nothing really "wrong" with it, but it's just not the same quality as the Clearview. Cheaper & thinner material, distortion in the curved part, and it developed a crack along the mounting hole (OK, the last one may have been my fault).
I learned my lesson, and my next one will be a Clearview.
We rode all day yesterday behind my new shield. We BOTH love it. Can't with for better weather now! I have only tried the vent to see how it will work, seems like it will be nice. Too cold to use it right now. Here is a shot coming home yesterday headin South....
Very nice quality, great workmanship, and very fast service! AAA+ in my book. I'll be ordering from them again for any and all shields I need/want. Thanks so much for the great shopping experience!

Reason: Spelling, of course....
I read a number of good comments on this forum and heard a lot of good comments regarding Clearview shields. I ordered the 12" smoked non-recurve shield for my 2009 SG. Sounds like the shield will work good for my needs.
