Put one on my 04 Flhtc a couple of yrs ago,Love it ,bike handles much better. At first I could feel a slight bit more vibes, but after a couple of rides it smoothed out.My buddy put one on his 06 and also noticed a difference in handling. There are many other stabilizers out there and from what I have read, they all work, but for the money spent on the Bagger brace, you cant do much better. My bike is lowered with bagger brace shocks 1.5 in in rear and that was the other reason I went with it because it tucks inside frame.
Had one added about three months ago on my 07 FLHX. I must say it has helped a lot. The handling has improved and I am more confident and stable in sharp turns. Well worth the money IMO.
I have a stabilizer(not a Bagger Brace) on my 2008 FLHX and I have 13" Ohlins and ride a little harder than the bike is designed to be ridden and the brace does it's job. It cannot fix an out of alignment frame/eng/trans or bad shocks/tires.
My 2008 EGC had one on it when I bought it. Don't know how much it does, but I can't use my jack because it hangs lower than the frame. It scrapes the ground sometimes. Other than that it is probably ok.
I went with progressive Touring link after seeing posts on the ground clearance - also have Glide Pro setup also makes for night and day difference handling machine
