X-Stream Shield thoughts
I ordered the X-Stream shield in 9" since that was the tallest he would go in black. Was disappointed with looks until I was able to pickup an accent trim peiece from one of the forum members here. With the trim piece I am liking the look a lot more.
Riding impressions is that I now have the wind back in my face but no helmet buffeting which is nice. THe X-Stream does an excellent job of keeping the wind off the torso clearing my shoulders nicely, 50" chest for me so I consider it good coverage for most. With the wind off the torso I will not get the fatigue as riders with no wondshield, yet I get to enjoy the open air feel with the wind in the face.
I was also able to enjoy the stero at cruising speed which was a pleasant suprise. I will also be able to fit the windshield pouch on this one with very little problem which I couldnt do with my Clearview due to the vent. I must say that I am very satisified with this shield.
My favorite for multiple days and varying weather conditions would still be my clearview with recurve and vent.
