Default kickstand help- bike almost fell over

I lowered the front forks with the progressive kit. Today while working on my 2010 streetglide I turned the bars all the way to right. As soon as I did that the bike started to tip over to the right. Luckily I noticed in time and didn't let it go. I was on level cement in my garage. Anyone else have this problem?

Has anyone had that problem? Just about everyone that ever lowered their bike. They make shorter kickstands to solve the problem. For goodness sakes don't try to shorten what you have or try to heat and bend it. Get a shorter stand.

they make wedges also, to put the kickstand on more of a angle.

How about a few washers between the frame and the jiffy stand bracket in the bottom holes as a quick fix. Should change your angle considerably. Who knows, maybe even a permanent one...

I would like to know who sells a shorter stand for a bagger. Can't find one anywhere.

Ness makes one and that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head. I'm to lazy to look it up to find others They are out there, you need to look a little more. I had to look around a bit till I found one for my lowered Dyna. Oops! Looks like Slothy found some for you.

My Bike was lowered at POS and has the original kickstand. No problems to date. I do know they make a kit to address that issue! It changes the angle of the stand to keep it from tipping over.

I used this wedge. Works great . . .

You may need to find one that's year/model specific, but almost every parts outfit sells these wedges in some form.
