On my 09 Ultra I am having an issue. My wife has a half helmet with the IMC HS - H170 headset. My bike has the current download of software for the radio. For her to talk to me she has to almost yell before the VOX is activated. I have the VOX set up 1 notch under OPEN. Is there a separate VOX setting for the passenger that I am not finding? I have a msg into IMC and they are trying to get me an answer.
dude, where else can you spend 5 hours, with your wife, with her legs wrapped around you....and you don't have to talk to her? tell her you can't make it work, and enjoy the peace!!

I believe there is a control for both the rider and passenger. Haven't been on the bike in awhile though because of the snow. Did you check you manual?
wassup there is headset volume front and rear but appears to be one vox setting for both mic's. I am going to test tonight using the passenger PTT in intercom mode to see if volume is any better. I have been all over the manual but was hoping someone had one of those little known facts that makes these work better.
further testing is the IMC headset doesn't work on VOX but works on PTT, I pluged it in both ports, rider and passenger and had same results. Appears that I have everything on radio correct and problem is with headset. Tomarrow I will call back to IMC to see what they will do. I know I could use intercom on PTT but if communicating with other bikes on CB they hear conversation
