I'd like to put an air horn on my 2010 Road King. I read a thread that was created awhile back and really couldn't make my mind up.
I like the looks of the HD air horn because it's nice and compact. Who has this horn and how well does it work? If there's another alternative that is also compact, I would like to hear about it. Thanks!
I had the chrome Wolo horn on the bike I just traded in. Got it from Kuryakyn. I wanted the mount that works on the stock mount, and I wanted the wiring harness with the fuse.
Its a good horn. Its made by Stebel.
I tried a howards air horn- never worked very well, sounded like a sick cow, coughing far, far away.
they had me fiddling with "tuning the diaphragm" and in the end blamed my battery---it didn't work on my truck battery either when I had them on the phone
I installed a Stebel air horn. It comes in black or chrome and at a good price. Google it and you'll find a lot of places to buy it from. You can listen to it on their web site.
Steibel...split horn from compressor put horn under stock cover, mount compressor in front of seat wire to battery with fuse.......About 60 bucks.....very loud.
