Document the unloading of the damaged bike, take plenty of pics. Your paperwork for the move should include seperate inventories for the bikes. Be sure to go over that with the driver and make a note on all damage. It may take an additional inventory to document all the damage. If your move was through a relo then chances are very good that your movers were a decent crew. Most moving companies at this point won't move motorcycles because of the liability. I guarantee you your driver feels terrible about this and his claims ratio will go up across the board. It was an accident. I've seen alot worse in my 33 years in the moving business. It sucks, but things do go wrong. Let them try to make it right and let us know if it gets sorted out.
Just arrived in Nashville and sitting in temp housing drinking a cold bud and getting cought up on the fourum. To the guys that said what the hell was I thinking, using a moving company to move my baby's. Your absolutley right!! What the hell was I thinking. Apperently I wasnt. Iwas hoping to make this as painless as possible and let the professionals do it, LOL. Some of us idiots have to learn the hard way. But make no mistake about it, they will fix the bike to my satisfaction. Cant wait to start exploring Nashville and the surounding area. The weather is starting to turn beutiful and this weekend my better half and I will be scouting some of the local watering holes for Bike Night!!!!

Man, that blows...sorry to hear about the bike. Lets hope the insurance company plays this one straight up and doesn't make it any harder. Good luck with the move and the bike.

My father in law purchased his 2010 RKC from Bost and loves them. I've heard good things about the HD in Cool Springs too, but never personally done business with them other than buy a T-shirt there.

Hey just wanted to give an update, The bikes arrived today and teh good news is that my dyna is in perfect shape and my rkc has no more damage. Now that I am in a better frame of mind, I was able to look the bike over carefully and all the damage looks to be cosmetic. Still I will have HD do a thoruough inventory of my ride, but at least I feel I can sleep much better tonight. Plus I will be able to get a bunch of Crome replaced and maybe sneak in few new goodies
Anyways, its great to be in Nashville, the temp today was 83, but didnt have time to ride the dyna, but I will before the weekend ends and I have to go back to work. All you guys who posted on my post, ride hard, ride fast and be safe!!!

I have a question, why in the hell would you allow the movers ajuster to see your bike? You have your own full coverage insurance no doubt, so why not turn it over to them? It's their job to make it right and then they go after the movers to recover their loss. They will not skimp or miss a damn thing because they know they are getting every dime back from the movers insurance. If you let the movers insurance handle it they will do all they can to cut corners and screw you. Besides that, I would make sure that frame is shot cause I would rather have a new bike than a repaired one any day.
Temps in t he 80's? I am jealous! Good luck with getting everything right.
