had a fuel pack on my 05 and never really was satisified with it so i will be going with a pc from fuelmoto when i am ready to do the stage 1 and exhaust

Normally when somebody starts they change pipes and airbox and start with a cheap tuning device
Vance and hines said themselves.If you go past this DO NOT USE their fuel pack. So you spent money and now you have to spend more money.
And with a Power Commander you can get by till you need to have it dynoed to make it run right. Now more money.
Why not start with a good tuner before you do anything to your bike. Then you can do anything to it and not have to change the tuner.
If you do not have the money to do it right , leave the bike stock.

if $ are really tight and the pc is just out of reach i would look at ieds from nightrider over the fuelpack.

A buddy put those on his bike, It did nothin to help with the heat.
And it made his fuel milage go down.

He took them off pretty fast.
There's more to it than that.

Have had Xieds and the Fuelpak and their both sitting it the top of my toolbox. PVC has far more options and if your anything like the rest of us then next will be cams then BB kits, and so on and so fourth. Best milage by far was the Fuelpak by a wide margin.
