First of all, I'm new so I thought I better introduce myself.
Just bought a new 2011 Street Glide 103, Vivid Black.
I have always liked the old school look of fishtails and plan to put a set of slip-on's on ASAP.
I am looking for a set w/ baffles, so I can just install and ride. I don't want to have to adjust anything. I also don't want lines that come with the end caps.
I'm torn between the 4" OD 35" long Samsons, if they offer a fishtail instead of longtail
I can't speak to the Bassani's, but I just installed the Samson 4" and they look and sound amazing. Great quality pipes with a nice, deep sound but aren't to loud until you get on it.
Just my humble opinion but I don't think Fish tails will look good on a SG. They would look better on a road king or heritage softail etc.
The SG is much to modern looking for fish tails.
had the samsons on my heritage looked and sound awesome but be careful with the SG they have lower ground clearance and might hit on driveways and mess up the fin.
