Default Anyone not have a garage?

Hey guys,
I pulled the trigger on the 2003 Road King! I'm stoked! Now here's the problem, you guessed it, I don't have a garage. I'm keeping it at a buddies for now but that will only last until the end of May...then I need to think about getting some kind of cover....any ideas/suggestions/recommendations? I'm not too sure which one to get....

Thanks again everyone,
Mike

I don't have a garage either. I bought a durashield cover from eBay. It is lined and has two vents in the front, fits over my fairing and bags great but if i put the tour pak on it will be snug and I do not think it will cover all the way to the ground with it on without the tour pak it goes to the ground and covers completely. So far I am satisfied I have had it on for about 2/3 weeks got some rain and snow on it and it seems to hold up. I guess time will tell.

Unfortunately, you need to invest in some sort of structure to park in. Even it's just a small shed. Any decent cover will help but they tend to trap moisture inside the cover. After a couple of years, the bike will start to look like crap. My brother parks his bike under what i would call a "car port." It's just a roof with no sides...free standing. I think he had it installed for around $500. He throws a cheap cover over the bike just to keep the dust off...works pretty good.

I don't have a garage. Get a lined cover with a couple of vents built in. That should do it. Also if you have a dirt drive. Go purchase enough patio block down to keep the bike out of the dirt during storage.

A cover is better that nothing. But you need some type of shed. Check on line to see what's out there that won't cost you an arm & leg. Even if you had to build something> good luck.

Years ago I was in the same situation. Prior to building a shed I used a 3 man Dome tent w/rainfly. It got me through the winter. SC

When I bought my first harley, I didn't have a garage. I went out and bought one of those cheap metal sheds, I think it was a 10 by 10 or something like that. I think it cost be about $300, and almost another $100 for the floor. In all, it was a small cost to keep my bike pad locked out of the elements.

It was a pain to put together, and not nearly as good as a garage, but it was much better than just a cover out in the wind and rain...
