Been riding for 47 years and the back isn't what it was, wouldn't ride without it. Enjoy the highway peds even more when your leaning back with the cruise set @ 75.

I just installed the sundowner and the fixed hd backrest and pass backrest. My wife and I are very happy with them!

I had the HD Non-adjustable one. Couldn't get it dialed in right. I'm a little too tall for it and it pushed me up on the seat. My new Mustang seat has one, and it is a MUCH better setup. Super simple, super comfy, and still keeps my rump in the bucket of the seat. Wouldn't do a long ride without it.

I will say that when I got my HD rider adjustable backrest, I was not in love with it. It hit me too high in the back and the adjustment just went from "too high" to "way too high". When I had my custom seat made (at Rich's Custom Seats in Kingston, WA), he moved the backrest back about an inch and a half and cut about 2 inches out of the upright part (this required some welding/fabrication/finishing/repainting, so not something I would have done myself). Now it's perfect and I love it.

If you have one do you like it and would you recommend it?

Thanks, Craig
I was wondering the same thing. Plan on buying one, but fixed or adjustable?

Thanks for all the responses!!!!

It looks like it's about 20 to 1 in favor of the backrest so I guess it's time to decide on either the adjustable or fixed.
