Just ordered a 2010 CVO seat for my 2010 FLHX. Picked up the adjustable rider backrest only to find out the next day that the adjustable won't work with the CVO seat. Go figure, guess the seat is more important to I'll have to exchange the adjustable for the standard unless someone can tell me they have used the adjustable with a 2010 CVO seat??? Please???

I find it a must have on long trips. In addition, I find it gives you more control over your bike by stopping any sliding back in the seat.

A rider back rest was a great add on, on my bike. The handle bars r just as important. U should try moving them up or down. I moved mine over the weekend and Damn it made a hell of a difference. I think i can go 400 plus in a day now

Have one on my C&C Fastback. It really makes it a different ride all together. I need to move my bars back a little and then I'm sure I'll totally dig the backrest.

Hands on apes... feet out on highway pegs... and reclined a little on the backrest make for an enjoyable ride!

adjustable or fixed? I've had both and while the fixed is better than nothing//////get the adjustable one-worth the extra money. Can be adjusted while riding with a switch on left of frame ....sweet. On long rides its nice to adjust the backrest to change your seating positon.

Love mine, and haven't taken it off since putting it on. I agonized over the adjustable vs. fixed for some time. I'm a cheap basturd, so picked up a fixed one from the parts forum. Good move for me. It took a bit to get it dialed in, but now its perfect. I'm 6'3" with a 34" inseam. No problemo.

2010 SG with the HD matching driver back rest. Great for long trips. For me it's all about different riding positions on a road trip. The rest gives me a couple more positions.
