I had the dealer replace the trim twice, came back off both times. The third time I decided to do it myself. The adhesive on the trim is fine, the trick is to clean ALL of the old adhesive off of the fairing before you reinstall. I manually removed the big chunks then goof off to get the residue. Did this two years ago, no problmes since, even on the hottest of days.

I had the same problem on my 2010 Roadie. Dealer used super glue and no more problem. Good advise in this forum as always
