Default looking for windshield that will work with apes
I have a 2011 SG with 16" monkey bars and was wondering what windshields might work on it.

I got 12" monkey bars with a klock werks 6.5" on an 07 and I am happy.

There's not much you can do about wind and cold for your hands being above the fairing. It's just one of the perks haveing apes.

I'm running an 8" from www.customflhtwindshields.net and it really keeps the wind and rain off my hands even tho they are above the fairing.

check with windvest wont keep your hands warm but will keep the wind outta your face.

Thanks for the info guys. I like the xtreme and flare style shields, I was just worried that the way set back over the fairing towards the rider it would interfere with my bar uprights.

I have a 7.25" Natl Cycle V-Stream sitting in my garage that has only a few miles on it. It'll work with 16's. PM me if you're interested.
